The whopping 147 words I've managed to write today do not comprise enough of a scene to post. It's flipping hot outside, and I have a head cold, and I don't have air conditioning.

Meh.

OTOH, at Tracy's office, I wrote a little bit of McKay/Sheppard!

Do I think less of men who are attracted to women?

From novels by Robert Heinlein, notably The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, and possibly The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress.

Ah! I've never read his work, I'm afraid. More of an Anne McCaffrey/Mercedes Lackey/Marion Zimmer Bradley kind of reader. LOL.

Me, too, with the love for Lackey. I used to read a lot of McCaffrey and Zimmer Bradley, but not so much anymore.

As for Heinlein, his earlier stuff (Moon) was really all-around good and insightful. His later stuff (Time Enough For Love, To Sail Beyond the Sunset) was basically porn with time travel.

How about Laurell K Hamilton?

I'm afraid I've never heard of her/him? My choice of SciFi/Fantasy is sporadic, because there are no english bookstores anywhere near my area and I can't afford new books too often, so I wait until I can get to the second hand bookstores near our family summer cottage and grab a ton then. So I don't always hear about new authors.

I really HAVE got to start making a list each winter. I've been saying that for years. Maybe some day it will happen. =>}
