Y'all are invited to Marathon Manor on Tuesday, June 10, at the time of your convenience for BOXING!

No punches will be thrown, nor will any cylon lines be put in storage, but stuff will be put in BOXES in preparation for MOVING!! Yays!

Following in the footsteps of Julian Bashir and Leeta, butterfly and I are enacting the Bajoran Rite of Separation. Mostly because we’re geeks, but also because it’s a great excuse to go see strippers.

The official word now is that we are officially un-coupled (not to be confused with de-coupled, because I’m not sure what that would make us), and therefore Butterfly is officially AVAILABLE. (Technically, so am I, but we all know I’m not in the market for a solid gold watch, especially if it’s only a dollar.)

The kick off of the several days of celebration and commemoration will be at Darcelle's, followed by skipping church Sunday in favor of a fête focused on the brightest and best television we’ve shared. Also, Monday: same thing. Likewise, Tuesday and Wednesday. Because, you know, not every relationship has to end like a Klingon opera.

Varieties of nosh shall be provided (even allergy safe stuff). BYOB where B = Blanket. Everyone is welcome to stay over, but the couch is already claimed by 2, so consider mattressing (or getting sloshed enough not to care -- in which case, BYO Booze and mind your manners).

All Saints Hillsboro is again hosting a "Sing-Along Messiah" this December. The event itself is December 8 at 2:00 PM. There will be no cover charge, though donations will be accepted. You can bring your own music or buy a score at the door. You can get more information on that by calling 503-648-2514.

Meanwhile, if you'd like to come to a rehearsal for the Sing-Along Messiah, we're doing that (again, free of charge, and you are welcome whether or not you'll be able to come on Dec 2) this Saturday, November 17 at 4:00 PM. This will run no more than two hours.

After that, (i.e., 6:00) you are invited to join me at Marathon Manor (meaning my tiny duplex) for Supernatural episodes until our little brains explode.

Sunday morning, November 18 at 10:00 AM, is the Bishop's Visitation at our church service. I love listening to Bishop Itty preach. There will also be confirmation rites and reception rites at that time. vampireborg is among those being received :D. It may be a little more crowded than usual, but I invite y'all to join us as well, even if for nothing other than the dessert potluck which will follow :)

Starting at noon at wisen_heimer's house on Millikan Way in Beaverton. Big screen TV, awesome sound, awesome sofa -- and loads of food. Now, WH is a food-planning nut, so we need headcount.
