December is almost gone, and I promised my mother a post about the snow.

It snowed. The driveway was pretty horrific the whole time, so I kept my tire chains on rather a bit longer than strictly necessary, leading to several chain repairs. I got to where I could pull both chains, repair a link on each, and get them back on again within 15 minutes. *feels very competent*

I ought not to make major life changing decisions in December, but sometimes it just has to be done. I may be moving furniture from room to room in the not too distant future. I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Kids are at their dad's. Gifts were opened. Shopping is still happening -- we're doing a second wave of gifts on Epiphany.

I had lunch with frostfire_17 shortly before Christmas, and gleaned several recs. I watched one today, District B13. In French with English subtitles and available for instant viewing on Netflix, this is AWESOME MOVIE.

I'l post more later, perhaps. For now, there are chores to be done before the end of the month.
