So, the house is getting whipped into shape. Which is good, because we're having it blessed on September 6 in the morning -- and then I'm going to a lamb roast in the afternoon, followed by my priest's last Sunday at our church on September 7.

Son2 and Son3 are enrolled in school and have their schedules. Son1 was just enrolled today (don't even get me started on the fiasco of trying to get him where I wanted him), and we're seeing his counselor on Tuesday to finalize his placement. He's going to take Tri-Met to and from school since high schools around here don't have their own busing. Also, 4 Fs and 2 As are apparently sufficient to pass 8th grade. Who knew? /bitter. At least KOP is being more involved than ever before, although thegrungediva is still the more responsible person (and therefore higher on the emergency call list than KOP).

Kumoricon is this weekend. I have Son1's badge, and I'll be a staffer, so all is groovy. I even managed to swap for Saturday night off, so I'll be able to see a little of the con. I expect rathanylakan is going quietly mad, but I won't mention how many hours are left until con begins. :D

I need to start making some phone calls for my home businesses.

I've signed up for two classes this fall - Peace and Conflict (PoliSci) and Calligraphy (art). I save $700 that way. *sigh*

I can't wait for school to start so we can get into a routine.
