So, I'm in San Diego right now, at the beachhouse of olivermoss's family -- which is GORGEOUS, by the way -- and after a sad and woeful day sans internets, I am now back online. Whew!

Sadly, I am currently lacking fundage until Friday, but I'm trying to see the bright side. This way, I'll be forced to evaluate the items I want to buy rather than impulse purchasing. Right?

If you're wondering (who isn't?), Day 1 was the airline travel, which was good for being fast, and meh for being airline. I did not post.

Day 2 involved sleeping in, hitting a Target, having lunch out, and kicking back, followed by dipping my toes in the jacuzzi before bed. I did not post.

Day 3 involves sleeping in, breakfast, internet, and panicking about money. All in all, a lot like home, only with more of the white burny thing in the sky. Lo, behold! I post.

Tonight is preview night. We get to pick up our industry passes around three or so, and then see previews for three things I've never heard of. But I'm sure I'll be sad if I don't go, so....

I feel really bad that I'm not more excited about this. Crap has conspired against me, and I don't want to drag the rest of my contingent down.

It's very nice to sit on the balcony overlooking the beachwalk on the bay, online, and watching the various people go by.
